Systems that carry load.

01 / Capability

Built for systems
that can't go down.

Most of our work is the unglamorous kind: transaction processing, invoicing, payments reconciliation, legacy migration. Systems where correctness matters more than novelty, and where downtime has a number attached to it.

Enterprise experience, without the enterprise overhead. You brief the architect, and the architect writes the code.

02 / Selected work

Systems delivered
at production scale.

Systems delivered by our principal architect over a 20-year career, in senior roles at Virtusa, TollPlus, and Annalect, and on direct contract. Each engagement below is credited to the organisation it was delivered through.

01

Tolling Back Office System

North Texas Tolling Authority & SR-91 California
Technical Architect at TollPlus LLC

2018 / 22

Automated toll transaction processing across two highway authorities. Vehicle images captured at gantries are read and matched against prepaid and postpaid customer accounts, with payments handled across card, bank transfer, and cheque, and invoices generated monthly.

Built as microservices on Service Fabric with CQRS separating command and query paths to keep read performance stable under write load. RabbitMQ handled asynchronous processing between services.

Easy Invoice & Azure Migration

Greenergy, United Kingdom
Senior Engineer · direct 18-month contract

2022 / 23

Lift-and-shift of on-premises systems into Azure for a UK fuel distribution group, alongside development of an invoicing application integrating with third-party interfaces.

Contracted directly rather than through an intermediary, and delivered remotely from Hyderabad over eighteen months. This is the working arrangement Celveza is built to repeat.

A+E Networks, USA
Architect at Virtusa

2017 / 18

Cloud-based video delivery platform serving content across US and international markets. Microservices architecture designed for large scale while keeping captive cloud infrastructure limited.

Media assets processed through a transcoding service, catalogued via an asset metadata store on DynamoDB, and delivered through a responsive mobile-first front end with multi-language support.

Condor Derivatives Invoicing

JP Morgan Chase, United Kingdom
Technical Lead at Virtusa

2011 / 13

Invoicing engine for foreign exchange, credit derivatives, and interest rate derivatives. Brokerage rates vary per client and are defined through multiple rate cards, all of which the system resolves before generating an invoice.

Trade data arrived from multiple upstream systems as files on FTP servers in differing formats, ingested by a Windows service into the Condor database on a daily and monthly cycle.

03 / Who leads the work

One architect,
accountable throughout.

Venkat Ramesh Puripanda

Principal Architect

Twenty years designing and delivering enterprise systems across tolling, banking, telecom, energy, and media. Associate Architect at Virtusa, Technical Architect at TollPlus, and Senior Architect at Annalect, alongside direct contract engagements. Has led teams through requirement gathering, design review, and production release on platforms handling high-concurrency transaction processing.

Work spans the full stack: .NET and C# on the backend, React and Angular on the front, AWS and Azure underneath, with a working depth in the parts that usually decide whether a system holds. Data modelling, query performance, and service boundaries.

For larger engagements, Celveza brings in a small bench of vetted engineers the principal has worked with directly, scaled to the project rather than maintained as permanent overhead.

04 / How we engage

A short path from
problem to production.

  1. 01

    You describe the problem

A conversation, not a form. We want to understand the constraint you are actually working against: volume, deadline, legacy system, compliance, before anyone proposes a solution.

  2. 02

    We scope it honestly

A written outline of approach, timeline, and cost. If a project isn't a good fit for a team our size, you hear it at this stage rather than after you've paid.

  3. 03

    We build in the open

Working software rather than status reports. You see progress as it happens and can change direction while changing direction is still cheap.

  4. 04

    We hand over properly

Documented, deployed, explained. The code is yours, and you are never structurally dependent on us to keep it running.
